This underwater bonsai by US-based ADG (Aquarium Design Group) can be seen to represent a solitary tree in winter or early spring. The structure centers on a single piece of drift wood that extends above the surface of the tank. A shallow base of rocks accentuates the height and diagonals of the aquascape, while a small school of semi-transparent Indian glass fish add movement while maintaining their role as a fabric of the overall canvas.
